Dear Students and Families, 

Welcome to another wonderful year of Art in room B4!  We have so many fun lessons planned - we will be working with paint, collage, sculpture, and even some clay!  Our theme for the year will be "inspired by nature", and we will look at various natural materials as well as some artists who use nature as their inspiration.  

I'm sure you are as committed as I am to seeing your student successful.  Success in the art room requires responsibility and cooperation.  In order to have the privilege of materials use in the Art room, each student has an expected behavior agreement.  The following is my expectations for student behavior.

Student Responsibilities:

1. listen to instructions without disruption

2. follow all the school rules in the art classroom and hallway transitions

3. turn in all work on time to receive full credit

4. accept responsibility for all grades

5. cooperate with teacher and classmates

6. respect rights and property of others

7. do your own work

8. ask for help when needed

9. keep track of materials and assignments

10. accept responsibility for consequences if needed
