Extra Credit!!!!! Yep, it's that time again.

Extra credit due Feb 5th, make sure name is on each piece.

1. Students can complete the following worksheets, worth up to 2 pts each.  These will also be available in printed form in class (while supplies last).

2. Students can complete one full page anime, must be fully colored on blank paper, worth up to 3 pts.

3. Students can complete one five object still life, fully shaded or colored.  Objects must show overlap for good composition, worth up to 3 pts.

Students should create a freeform sketch in their sketchbook, in ballpoint pen, of designs and patterns.  This complex "doodle" should fill the page.  Only small areas of intentional white page should be visible.  Image is optional.

8th grade research papers

Due Feb 5th.

500 word minimum (may be 900 words for extra credit), must include artist's history, a few examples of their work, why their work is meaningful in history, and the author's opinion of their work.  Visuals are optional.
