Some completed "batiks"

Room 104 and 113 start water color washes for their haunted trees...

4th and 5th grade start a multi media owl scene...

First, students draw owls from some printed examples. These will be transferred onto foam for printing. The leaves and the background will be marbled and painted in a later class, and finally assembled into one piece.  So much autumn fun!!

The Arts and Music Departments formally showcased here at Henry School!

2nd and 3rd grades start a crayon "batik"...

A few classes had a "free art" period, with access to materials and the freedom to create whatever they wanted! Hats, boats, frames, books, people, drawings, and many more beautiful art pieces were created!

1st, 2nd, and 3rd are adding their pumpkins...

Kindergarten made leaf rubbings...

And a touch of sprayed yellow water color completes the background.

We used a beautiful tissue paper dye transfer for these backgrounds.

This background was added to complete the oil pastel leaf studies that 4th and 5th grade completed last week.
