EXTRA CREDIT!!!! Upper school - I know you've been waiting. Due Nov 13th NO EXCEPTIONS.

Students can choose as many of these options as they would like.  Students can make the same options more than once.  Each must be on blank piece of paper, bound together (i.e. sketchbook), and each must be labeled as "extra credit".  Each fully completed assignment is worth 3% towards your overall grade.  So if a student currently has an 81%, completing three extra credit assignments will bring them to a 90%.  Credit will only be given to work that clearly shows effort.  Sloppy, underdeveloped work will either be given minimal or no credit.

1. complete 3 value studies of objects in your kitchen, must show highlights, middle values, shadows and cast shadows, and must be smoothed and blended pencil.

2. complete 4 blind contours of objects in your bathroom.

3. complete 3 contour drawings of your hand in various positions, one position hand must be holding an object (i.e. pencil, brush, can of soda, etc).

4. complete 2 value studies of your hand in various positions, one position hand must be holding an object (i.e. pencil, brush, can of soda, etc).

5. complete 1 full page landscape showing horizon line and objects receding, must be colored in.

6. complete 2 drawings of cars, must be shaded or colored in.

7. complete 3 cross contour drawings of objects found in your home.

8. complete 1 full page anime, character must be in setting or have background.

9. design two fashion outfits, colored in.  must include an "inspiration" picture from magazine or personal photo.  does not have to include fabric swatches, although that would be awesome.  see example:
